課程概述

1. To introduce the students to the concept of environment conservation and resource management through one of the major themes in geography man/environment relationship.
2. To introduce some of contributions by geographers and by those in related disciplines to this field.
3. To identify the research problems and issues which can be considered in this topic.
4. To use case studies to identify the practical problems and issues in Taiwan.
5. To examine management issues and how geographers can contribute to their understanding and possible solutions.
 

課程目標

 In addition to class participation, each student must meet the requirements as follows before the end of the session:
1. To hand in a mid-term report.
2. To present a paper related to Taiwan’s resource management.
3. To participate in the term examination.
